We are currently working to resolve an issue where the stream stops frequently on Android devices with OS version 6 or newer. When the phone screen auto-locks, the app stream is cut off. The time you have set in the auto-lock settings of your phone is the time it takes until the app stream gets cut off after starting the stream.
Please do not submit a support ticket, as we are aware of it and will be pushing out an app update very soon with a fix for this issue. In the meantime, Android users can:
- Go to phone settings
- Find the "Time Out" or "Auto-Lock" settings (the name of this setting may on different devices)
- Extend the time to either "Never Auto-lock" or the longest time available
This adjustment will prevent the screen from auto-locking at all, or at least significantly extend the time it takes for the screen to auto-lock. Since the auto-lock function triggers the app stream to stop, this will act as a temporary workaround until we have pushed out the app update.
